In light of my impending foray into sprint tri-ing, I timed myself on a (rather hilly) 5K. I just about completely blew up (think wheezing, huffing and puffing bright red tomato) but managed to finish it in 27:33 which is approximately 4 minutes less than the (only other) 5K I did two years ago.
This is week 7 of my "training" so by this summer I should be able to run one in under 25 minutes?
A 25 minute 5K seems really fast to me…ambitious.
